Lasting Powers of Attorney

A Lasting Power of Attorney is an extremely useful document to have in place, so that should you lose your mental capacity or be physically unable to manage your affairs, you have an appointed attorney(s) to manage your affairs for you. Without such a document someone has to apply to the Court of Protection to become your Deputy. This person may not be someone you would have chosen had you prepared a Lasting Power of Attorney before losing capacity. The Court fees and annual fees are well worth avoiding.

Please contact Teresa Ruddock on 01773 832511 for any further information or an appointment to have a Lasting Power of Attorney prepared.
