John joined Broadbents Solicitors in 1973 and went on to become a Senior Partner in 1994. As the Head of the Criminal legal team, John represents clients during police investigations and frequently appears in the Magistrates courts of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. He has also been a Duty Solicitor since the scheme was introduced in 1985. In March 2023 John retired as Senior Partner but will be remaining as a Consultant as of April 2023.
John is the President of the Derbyshire Tennis Association (since 1989), a Parish Councillor and Grandfather of 6.
